Ethanol eurodenatured
Completely denatured alcohol (CDA).
The (1:1:1) denaturant is in compliance with European legislation and comprises methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) 1% v/v and 2- propanol (IPA) 1% v/v and denatonium benzoate 1 g/100 litres. (All figures based on the ethanol content, not on any percentage of water present)
Denatonium benzoate (a tasting agent) is also known by several trade names including, Bitrex, BITTERANT-b, BITTER+PLUS.
